four : twenty-eight p.m.

so it's over. after four days of updownbackforthyesno, it's over, and you've packed a suitcase and a guitar and you've gone for a few days. and you played m. ward's cover of "let's dance" as loud as you could before you went, and you stuck a note ("i will always love you. somehow.") on the refrigerator, and you told me you couldn't see me for some time, and you left, and you left, and now it is quiet and raining and i'm not sure what to do with myself.
