eight : thirteen p.m.

and before i know it, we've been here for almost two weeks, putting our books together on the shelves, scrubbing the sliding door to the balcony, being quiet on our early mornings. busy city street, dirty bus route, two blocks from saturday brunch, from fresh italian market produce.

there are times when i think of him incessantly, missing the concrete friendship we never had the chance to develop.
